Rescreening means keeping your existing frame and replacing the worn-out mesh with new screen. It’s usually the quickest way to make a torn, faded or sagging window screen look and work like new again, and Onsite Window Screening Pros of St. Louis does it right at your home.
What our rescreening service includes
We take the screens out of your windows, remove the old mesh and spline, install new screen material, and put the screens back in the window. If a frame is bent or a corner is broken, we can repair it while we’re there. If a screen is missing, we can build a new custom frame to match.
Choose your screen
Not all screen is the same. We carry several types and bring samples so you can compare them.
Insect screen is the standard choice for most windows. BetterVue and UltraVue are finer, clearer screens if you want a better view. Pool & Patio is a heavier, more durable screen, good for larger panels. SuperScreen is our strongest material, for screens that take real abuse. Pet-resistant screen is a tough option, mostly for sliding doors and spots pets can reach.
Signs it’s time to rescreen
- Holes or tears, even small ones, since bugs find them fast.
- Mesh that has gone brittle, faded or cloudy from years of sun.
- Screen that sags or pulls away from the frame because the spline has shrunk.
- Screens that were patched or taped and never quite looked right.
Onsite or free pickup
We’re a mobile company. Most of the time we can rescreen your windows right in your driveway. If that doesn’t work for your home, we’ll pick up the screens and bring them back installed, free. Same-day repairs are often possible, and our turnaround is fast.
